Matt Burr

Matt Burr is Vice President and General Manager of FlashBlade, responsible for product, market and messaging strategy, BU operations, pricing strategy, quality, and product delivery of the FlashBlade product line. Matt joined Pure Storage in 2010 as Vice President of Sales, responsible for building the North American sales organization from the ground up. In this role, Matt spent eight years developing and scaling strategic sales plans to generate hyper-growth and customer satisfaction forthe organization. Matt’s sales and go-to-market leadership helped scale company revenue to a billion dollars in annual sales, a milestone the company reached in March 2018. In December of 2017, Matt was promoted to lead the company’s newly formed FlashBlade business unit.
