Joe Pinto joined Pure Storage in 2019 as Chief Customer Experience Officer, responsible for developing and leading the Global Support and Professional Services teams and overseeing the continued scale and development of Pure’s Customer Success model. Prior to joining Pure, Joe was Senior Vice President at Cisco, overseeing the Technical Services Group. During his 28-year tenure at Cisco, Joe transformed Cisco’s services organization from a legacy phone-based system to a digitally-enabled suite of solutions. His team also created and developed Cisco’s first Technical Support website. This organization garnered numerous industry awards under his leadership. Joe has sponsored customers in banking, finance and service providers, to help build strong and trusted business relationships. In addition, Joe is involved with several start-ups – both advising and serving on their boards. Joe also serves as the Chair of the Engineering Industry Advisory Council and the Tower Foundation board, both at San Jose State University. In 2001, he established the Lynn and Joe Pinto Foundation to assist northern California health, education, and welfare groups. Joe holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Golden Gate University.
