As we are in the midst of our first quarter, we like to reflect on all that Pure has achieved in Canada since our start in the region in 2015. We have continued to expand our customers and partners in this short time. In 2018 we added Desjardins Group, SAS Canada and Women’s College Hospital among others to our roster of happy customers. We also expanded the Pure team in Canada to support this growing customer and partner base.
Recognition:
This year we led the way with innovation. We were named a leader in the annual Gartner Magic Quadrant for Solid-State Arrays for the fifth consecutive year, received high ratings for FlashArray in the Gartner Critical Capabilities Report and were recognized for our AI Innovation for AIRITM. The industry is taking notice of Pure’s technology and business innovation. We are providing endless opportunity for organizations seeking to replace their legacy technology.
Innovation:
Pure is committed to delivering customer satisfaction. Our customers help us drive our technology and business innovation. In 2018 we took NVMe mainstream and empowered AI and analytics with AIRI, the industry’s first comprehensive AI-Ready Infrastructure. We also updated our EvergreenTM business model offering a cloud-like approach to on-premises storage and most recently announced Cloud Data Services, our new cloud offerings that run on AWS. Cloud Data Services allows our customers to seamlessly operate in a hybrid cloud environment by investing in a single storage architecture that unifies application deployments on-premises and on the cloud to flexibly turn data into value virtually anywhere. We also acquired StorReduce, a cloud-first software-defined storage solution for managing large scale unstructured data. The acquisition allows us to add sophisticated deduplication technology to our object storage portfolio and expand our public cloud integrations to meet the growing demand to manage unstructured data in multi-cloud environments.
And we haven’t slowed down one bit, less than six months after the acquisition, Pure integrated StorReduce to offer always-on restore to cloud and on-premises. We were also the first leading storage provider to release NVMe-oF with DirectFlashTM Fabric, delivering increased performance for mission-critical and web-scale applications.
Partnership:
We rely on our partners to help us evangelize and implement these solutions with our customers. Our partners are key to our continued success. In 2018, we also launched a new partner program, one that has evolved in order to keep pace with the significant growth of the company. It empowers partners with new training, certifications, support and incentives. We also added new strategic partners in Canada both nationally including CDW, Scalar, OnX and Softchoice, as well as regional partners. Pure has always recognized that it takes multiple types of partners to meet the needs of our customers across the country.
2019 and beyond:
We recently announced our results of a strong year showcasing continued growth with full-year revenue $1.36 billion, up 33% year over year. And in 2019, we will build on this momentum as a strategic data partner for our customers through Canada and our expansion of Puritans and partners who will help us exceed their expectations.
