These are challenging times and enterprises are grappling with the pace of technology decisions to cope with the massive shift in the way we work. In times like these, the responsibility for vendors like Pure to provide our enterprise customers with the right guidance is greater than ever.
This is one of the roles that Pure’s field CTO organization fulfils, serving as a bridge between Pure’s product engineering and sales teams, and working closely with our customers on their current and future technology architectures.
It is thus with great pleasure that we welcome a Pure Storage pioneer back into the field CTO organization. Michael Cornwell has returned to Pure as Field CTO for Americas and will be a superb addition to the global team.
He first joined the company in 2009 as one of our earliest employees and has now returned as Field CTO, Americas, bringing with him extensive engineering know-how and experience working with customers on hybrid and public cloud deployments.
Michael worked on flash storage at Apple and Sun Microsystems before his first stint at Pure where amongst other roles, was our Field CTO in Asia Pacific & Japan. He left Pure in 2017 to be the GM for Storage Technologies at Microsoft Azure before taking on the CTO role at Qumulo.
Pure is delighted to have him back and we know our customers in the Americas will appreciate his wealth of knowledge and enterprise experience.
