Scott Dedman leads Solutions Architecture and strategy for Pure’s GSI business globally. He has responsibility for working with the global systems integrators to deliver disruptive innovation through the use of digital transformation and modern technologies underpinned by Pure’s data platforms.
Scott is an IT transformation strategist with broad experience of assisting enterprises with their IT strategy and large transformation programmes. Scott is one of Pure’s key solution and strategy executives – he has played a pivotal leadership in many strategic pursuits and is highly respected by clients and the IT industry at large.
Prior to joining Pure in 2017, Scott was the Director for DXC’s Solution Consulting organisation in EMEA. He was part of the DXC business leadership team. He was engaged on the company’s most strategic deals and responsible for approximately 200 Solution Consultants.
Over his career, Scott held strategy director and solution executive/leader roles on 29 winning deals with a total signed contract value of $15bn. He has worked principally with financial services clients and has experience in the public sector, defence, retail, telecoms, media and energy industry sectors amongst others.
Scott joined HP Enterprise Services in 2010, transitioning to DXC in 2017. He has been successful in all major projects he has held leadership positions on. Totalling over $5bn in TCV and delivering significant benefits to HP’s clients including Deutsche Bank, Ministry of Defence, Department for Work and Pensions and Alcatel Lucent.
Prior to joining HP ES, Scott held positions at IBM Global Services, Energis and Planet Online (ISP) in client advisory roles. He has also held operational and technical positions in corporate IT departments.
