Tom Schroeder

With over 24 years of experience delivering world class service and support to enterprise customers in technology, Tom currently serves as the Vice President of Professional Services for Pure Storage. Tom is responsible for leading the global Pure organization to deliver a world class customer experience, that enables customers to quickly realize the value of Pure’s technology. Prior to joining Pure Storage, Tom served as the Vice President of Services and Support at NetApp, Tom led a team of over 1100 service and technical support professionals, whose mission was to deliver an awesome customer experience always! Tom was also responsible for the professional services P&L which included 5 lines of business totaling in excess of $200M in annual revenue. Prior to joining NetApp, Tom served as the Senior Vice President of Operations & Engineering for Glowpoint, a leading cloud managed services provider for unified communications and collaboration. At Glowpoint, Tom was responsible for architecting the vision and strategy for delivering world class customer service to enterprise customers and channel partners. He oversaw all operational aspects of Glowpoint’s global cloud managed services, including service delivery, technical support, IT, engineering, software development, customer service, field operations and supply chain management. In addition to his roles at Glowpoint, Tom has held other key management positions in service operations and support for voice and data service companies such as TCG, AT&T, XO Communications & Con Edison. Tom is married and has two children (TJ- 18, Ty- 15). Tom and his family live in Long Valley, NJ, which is part of the greater New York City metro area. Tom is highly involved with the local community and volunteers his time coaching youth lacrosse.
