At Pure Storage, Earth Week isn’t just about raising awareness—it’s about taking action. In collaboration with Pure Good Foundation, employees worldwide came together to celebrate, educate, and make tangible contributions toward a healthier planet. Here’s how we united through purpose, creativity, and community:
Pollinator Power: Supporting Biodiversity
Bees took center stage as teams across multiple locations partnered with the Planet Bee Foundation to build native bee homes. These hands-on workshops highlighted the vital role pollinators play in our ecosystems—and empowered employees to protect them with every nest built.

Greener Living through Education and Action
We hosted a sustainability panel where employees could learn about how Pure Storage is reducing its impact on the planet and how we continually strive for a net-zero carbon footprint. An eco-living workshop empowered employees to shrink their personal sustainability footprint. From energy-saving tips to conscious consumer habits, these sessions inspired practical, real-world change—at work and at home.

Cleanups and Community Impact
Pure Storage teams rolled up their sleeves and hit the streets (and rivers) for clean-up events in parks, city centers, and waterway areas. These efforts not only beautified our shared spaces but also reinforced our collective responsibility to care for our environment.
Our Singapore team hit the waterways and collectively removed around 80 kilograms of plastic and other waste from the water while our Santa Clara team tackled cleanup at the Guadalupe River.
Our Prague team (left) partnered with Sázíme stromy to plant trees. To date they have planted 410 trees and 35 bushes with this organization and our Dublin team (right) did a park and beach cleanup.
Grow Green: Planting, Seed Swaps, and Eco Giveaways
Many offices embraced their green thumbs with seed ball workshops, basil paper planting, and even beehive rooftop visits. Meanwhile, our signature eco-friendly giveaways offered reusable, sustainable alternatives to everyday items—making it easier than ever to live a little greener.

Recycling and Reducing E-Waste
From Chicago to Bangalore and beyond, Pure Storage employees took sustainability into their own hands by responsibly disposing of outdated electronics. E-waste collection bins popped up in kitchens, break rooms, and common areas—giving new life to old devices and keeping toxic waste out of landfills.
Bins like these found in our Chicago office (left) were in many of our offices globally to properly dispose of e-waste. Our Bangalore office (right) also collected gently-used clothing and books for charity giving them new life to others.
From waterway cleanups in Singapore to green art contests in India, Earth Week at Pure Storage was powered by passionate people and creative ideas. Whether it was a quiz, a planting drive, or a walking meeting, our teams found meaningful ways to engage with sustainability on a personal level.
