CRN

The Channel Company publishes a number of lists annually that showcase those in the industry who truly rise above the crowd. This year, I’m delighted to share that five of my colleagues at Pure have been named to the CRN Women of the Channel list for 2022!

I’ve always enjoyed working with partners across the IT industry to help them help customers be successful. While it may seem simple, I can assure you that it takes a special passion for anyone to see a need and step up to make good business happen with resellers, distributors, managed service providers, global system integrators, and alliance partners. Each route to market has its own set of needs and expectations for working with vendors, and it’s been a true privilege for me to work with incredible channel rock stars here at Pure Storage® who make it look so easy every day.

The CRN “A” List is Out

Samara Halterman leads our Global Partner Marketing Organization, working closely with my team to promote and expand Pure’s relationships around the world. Her greatest strength is her ability to identify and address challenges with creativity and boldness. She’s a true leader who inspires her team daily, and she has made a big impact here since coming to “The Orange” in 2021.

Cheri Schumacher wakes up every day thinking about how to help our partners have the best experience working with Pure Storage. Her more than 20 years of driving transformation in partner sales strategies have helped to hone her expertise in increasing partner execution and effectiveness, with a strong focus on automation, enablement, and operational improvements. She’s a wonderful visionary who continues to find the best ways to enable our partners to be successful selling Pure solutions.

Megan Minkiewicz understands the importance of offering competitive rewards and challenging the market status quo to ensure Pure’s partners are valued and successful. She’s revamped our Partner Program to keep it aspirational for resellers, managed service providers, distributors, and global system integrators who invest in data storage knowledge and know-how. She is a true champion of channel business and is helping Pure lead the evolution to subscription revenue for partners.

Anja Stadelhofer-Walsh brings international experience and voice to our partner programs. Her focus on developing strong and beneficial relationships always includes the global perspective so many US-based companies lack today. She has not let a global pandemic slow down her drive to help partners build new customer pipeline and pivot quickly to ensure they reimagine how to work with Pure to meet customer needs in today’s market.

Kristine Wedum has the great opportunity to work with partners across borders, engaging with them in both the US and Canada. Her passion is in building an unrivaled ecosystem of partners that delivers an exceptional experience to their customers. She’s always eager to find new programs that entice partners to execute successful engagements with customers. She embraces being her authentic self with each partner and strives to operate transparently in all deals. She’s a great example of how to work with the channel successfully.

Honored and Humbled

I’ve been in sales for years and can honestly say that working with these leaders every day is rewarding and fun. I’m honored to call them colleagues here at Pure. I’m also very humbled to have been included on the CRN Women of the Channel: Power 100 list for 2022. While this acknowledgment has my name on it, it’s really a recognition of all the leaders at Pure who focus 100% on helping partners be successful.
