Summary
NVIDIA GTC AI conference took place in San Jose, California, March 17-21, 2025. Discover the big announcements and demos we shared, including how our data platform for AI can help you accelerate model training and inference, improve operational efficiency, and more.
AI thought leaders, tech industry heavyweights, and business leaders gathered in San Jose, California, for NVIDIA GTC 2025. Pure Storage was back, sharing the future of storage for HPC and AI along with some big announcements:
- We shared FlashBlade//EXA™—an ultra-scale data storage platform optimized for AI workloads by providing massive storage throughput and operating at extreme levels of performance and scale.
- We announced two milestones in our long-standing partnership with NVIDIA—expanding AI infrastructure with the NVIDIA AI Data Platform, and our new high-performance storage (HPS) certification for NVIDIA Cloud Partner (NCP) reference architectures. Read more about both.

The World’s Most Powerful Data Storage Platform for AI
Demos and Expert Speaking Session
We hosted demonstrations to showcase how Pure Storage has overcome the performance limitations previously set on HPC on AI workloads and learn about our new validated reference architectures that can fast-track your AI projects. Massive training and real-time inference workloads are pushing traditional infrastructure to its limits, requiring faster, more scalable solutions.
We also showed attendees how we’re changing performance, scale, and adaptability with recent certified and validated solutions, including Pure Storage and NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD™.
Pure Storage CTO Rob Lee’s session, “Enabling Exabyte Scale AI Training and Inference” drew a crowd to discuss the challenges AI and HPC practitioners have been facing, perpetuated by traditional parallel storage’s struggle to keep pace.
The last year has been an amazing year for AI innovation and growth. Any predictions on where we’ll be this time next year? See you next year when we find out.
